When I cook, I would rather use wooden utensils and I have for years. My husband Ovie just finished these spaghetti spoons and they are great for making your favorite spaghetti but can be used on anything. The hole in the spoon will measure enough spaghetti (dry) for 2 people or for checking the consistency of the sauce. Wood is gentler on your pasta than metal, allowing the pasta to retain its shape.
The cherry wood comes from the Red River Gorge area and has been hand shaped and finished. Each spoon is done individually so there are no two alike.
This is an ideal item to give in a basket with gourmet pasta and an organic sauce.
